Working all over the UK (and sometimes beyond!) but based in Scotland The BarrowBand are a real band of multi-instrumentalist/singing costermongers who are accompanied by an amazing, kinetic, magical fruit and veg barrow.

Come along to Dundee Food Festival’s closing party, from 4pm to late at the Artic Bar. The event will include live music and free soup and pies.

Dundee dynamic duo, Dec and Nat, will get you dancing through the decades, with top tunes from the 50s to present day chart hits. Both still original members of Dundee 5-piece band, Sound Machine, Decanted deliver a live acoustic experience of the same high energy hits.  Both Dec and Nat are self-proclaimed ‘foodies’ and are very much looking forward to discovering new delights at the Festival!

This workshop will be informal and interactive, exploring what we can expect from a Fairtrade marked product, the 10 Principles of Fair Trade and what it means for Dundee being recognised as a Fairtrade Community.

Celebrating Dundee Food Festival with an exclusive insight with a local food hero, Chef Dean Banks.

Explore some of the food-themed art and design from the University of Dundee Archive and Museum collections and get inspired by some of the fantastic artwork, illustrations, and packaging designs by DJCAD alumni.

Join Master-baker Jeni at Braw Tea Cafe for an afternoon masterclass and demo.

At out Pollinator Play Activity Hubs in the Central Dundee and Broughty Ferry Libraries, we invite you to PLAY, Learn and Enjoy our fun activities which we hope will make you THINK about where a lot of your food comes from.

oin us at Waterstones Dundee on Sunday 7th July at 4pm, where we are delighted to host Gillian Veal to celebrate the launch of Café Cooking, perfect for all fans of the Parlour and Cambo cafés.

We will be showcasing the work of the Community Growing Spaces around the city.  We are a vibrant network of growers who support and encourage each other to grow food and reduce food waste.
