Get ready to indulge in a delicious array of events and activities that will take place at various venues across the city.

Join us on Saturday 6 & Sunday 7 July for a two-day extravaganza that will tantalize your taste buds. Events and activities will be spread across iconic locations such as V&A Dundee, Discovery Point, City Square, the Waterfront, Slessor Gardens and further afield.

Our festival aims to showcase the city’s local produce, and food & drink scene through a wide range of events, talks and activities. Whether you’re a resident or visitor, we invite you to eat, drink, play, and think as you explore the variety of Dundee’s culinary offerings.

As we progress on the journey to become more mindful about the food we eat let’s celebrate and promote food consciousness together. We want our festival to nourish you and our precious planet.

Dundee Food Festival celebrates the local larder and fosters community involvement. With a rich abundance of quality food and drink in Dundee, it’s no surprise that around 70% of Scotland’s fresh produce is located within 30 miles of the city. As part of our efforts towards sustainability, we have asked all participating businesses and organisations to pledge to our Sustainability Charter, focusing on reducing food waste, minimizing plastic use, and supporting local producers.

Our festival is a family-friendly affair, with plenty of free activities for children to enjoy. The hub of the festival will be City Square, where you’ll find food stalls, street performers, live music, and even characters on stilts, guaranteeing endless fun for everyone.

The festival is delivered in collaboration with local partners including Dundee City Council, the Eden Project, V&A Dundee, James Hutton Institute, and Eat and Drink Dundee.

Join us for an unforgettable celebration of Dundee’s thriving food and drink scene.
