Join us for some food inspired design fun as part of Dundee Food Festival!
Explore some of the food-themed art and design from the University of Dundee Archive and
Museum collections and get inspired by some of the fantastic artwork, illustrations, and packaging
designs by DJCAD alumni at V&A Dundee.
Get hands-on with original archives including historic menus, recipes and ration books showing
how we used to eat. Get a taste for the eateries of Dundee in years gone by and relish at
beautifully illustrated vitamin charts, a rather unusual egg diet, and a scone that is 40 years old!
Sample a variety of family-friendly activities, including colouring and designing your own menus,
comic making, and get the chance to compose and pose with your own giant still-life!

The organisers of this event have pledged to...
Eliminate Single-Use Plastic
Going The Extra Mile
We will not use single-use plastic
We will avoid single-use plastic in our family friendly activities and instead make use of recyclable and reusable materials where possible.
Other
Circular Economy: Our activities will incorporate the use of recycled and repurposed materials. Rather than buy new, we will borrow materials and equipment from others as much we can, reducing waste and carbon emissions associated with purchasing new items.
