We are a husband-and-wife team, living in Newport on Tay and raising our three children amongst the hubbub of running our Café Bar, Deli’s Fig & Fromage, Newport on Tay and Provender Brown, Perth.  Bringing to Dundee Food Festival our love of high-quality ingredients from Italy, France, Spain and Scotland.  You can expect to see Perello olives, Torres and Brèt crisps, Mutti sauces, Italian pasta, Hunter & Gather collagens and seed free mayo’s, Willy’s ACV products and of course we all love great chocolate so you can expect to see that too.

We will offer seasonal local produce, where available, and indicate these where appropriate

We are very pleased to be offering local strawberries from a farm in Fife. Along with this we will have beautiful ingredients on offer from around the world allowing you to make your own creations in the kitchen at home. Everything we stock in our shop in Newport on Tay has been carefully selected.

We have a plan in place to reduce food waste

Nothing is wasted, we make our own soups in the shop for our cafe which means we get to use up all of the lovely veggies. Within our group we also make our own quiches taking care to select the cheeses from our selection.

We will not use single-use plastic

We never use single-use plastic. Our takeaway items are all packaged in compostable or re-usable containers.


Local Sourcing: We prioritize sourcing ingredients locally to support nearby farmers and reduce carbon emissions associated with transportation.
